I've searched the forums and the web for some information on how version 1.0 differs from 1.2, and I can't find anything. I am evaluating the effort of upgrading our production system that is currently at the 1.0 level, and I would like to find an upgrade guide. I saw an article on the Grid object, which tells me that the Grid is no longer backward compatible. What other considerations are there? Is there a readme or some sort of upgrade article I can read?

I'm able to load my editor (AND TYPE SOMETHING IN IT) on almost all browsers if it is being served locally.
But if I use the cdn by AOL or Google it loads the editor but I cannot TYPE ANYTHING IN IT. I see IE say permission denied.
I'm trying to use dojo 1.2.0
Please help me out.

After downloading the Dojo 1.2 src I found that both dojo.js.uncompressed.js & dijit.js.uncompressed.js are missing. Was this intentional, my team has found it beneficial to have these files provided in the past.
In the last few days, I have seen a number of comments about people using dojo 1.2 (talking about its improvements, etc.). Moreover the release notes for 1.2 are already up and available: http://dojotoolkit.org/book/dojo-1-2-release-notes
Yet, I cannot find any link to download that version, not even in beta release. Am I missing something?
